Sair didn’t start as a business plan. It started as a feeling — a quiet dream born almost nine years ago, somewhere between long bus rides, budget hostels, and endless chai conversations with strangers who turned into friends.
Back then, travel wasn’t just about places — it was about people. About that one smile in a new city, the warmth of shared stories, and the strange comfort of not knowing where you’re headed next. That feeling — of belonging everywhere — is what gave birth to Sair.
And finally, Sair found its first home in Varanasi, just a few steps away from the sacred Assi Ghat — the place where every sunrise feels like a new beginning. Here, we built more than a hostel — we built a community.A space where stories are shared over dinner, where strangers become family, and where every traveler leaves a little piece of themselves behind.
But this is only the beginning.Sair was never meant to stay still. The dream that started in Banaras will soon travel across India’s cities and towns, creating soulful spaces that reflect the rhythm of each place — warm, welcoming, and full of stories.
